This may be a dumb question, but my '99 CVPI sounded off with 5 loud beeps which repeated about 5 times today. This occurred each time I started the car. I have a Check Engine light for a bad O2 sensor, do the 'chimes' mean something else has been detected? Or is this something different?
Also, does anyone know where I can find a decent wiring diagram for these? The Ford CD sucks.

Re: Warning chimes?
5 beeps 5 times means your airbag light is inop - normaly the warnign bulb is blown.

Re: Warning chimes?
wait till you fix that stuff - if your ecm is bad that could cause the light inop due to the internal fuse that blows upon deployment.

Re: Warning chimes?
thanks Riv, you were right! I replaced the bulb, and the music stopped. Still working on getting the bags tho.
