extra intake pipes?

i have recently installed a ram intake into my baby (98), but there were a few parts/pipes that didnt hook up to my new system. the pipe also has some sort of sensor on it. it hasnt caused any problems so far. i was thinking it was temp but not sure. did u run into the same situation and is the sensor (and other pipe) important.

Re: extra intake pipes?

i think you're talking about your MAF (mass airflow sensor) but if its working fine, thats weird, an uninstalled MAF will cause serious rough idling and acceleration problems... as for the other "pipes", they're probably vaccum lines and you should find a way to hook them up into your system. pics would be great!
