Greg,

#26R is owned by BMW Mobile Tradition in Germany and is in LeMan spec.No 42.

The chassis in your pics is in FIA GT spec #21R.

Nice find btw.

Re: MODENA-MOTORSPORT-Track days on the new Nuerburgring

We have what is believed to be #21R in the pics in this thread, #26R is the BMW Tradition car (and we know both wore #8) and #23R wore #9.

Judging by what drivers are on the doors, #21R states Lehto and Soper, #23R states Kox and Ravaglia and #26R shows Lehto & Soper (as per the BMW mobile Tradition car)here)

(Edited to make sense in future posts )

Hsu owns the #8 Fina GTR chassis #21R. BMW owns #26R, which wears the #42 Fina livery. There's also a chassis plaque picture of 26R when BMW brought it out. 26R has belonged to BMW Motorsport since it was delivered (iirc) whereas 21R has changed hands a few times.

Correct me if I am wrong, but #21R is now the ex Aaron Hsu GTR.

That GT40 (LBL 505D)? in the rear of the garage, is Ray Bellm,s!!

So Aarons Hsu's (ex)car is the same as in the pictures, collaborating the picture of the suspension set up.

21R wears #8 and is in these pics
23R wears #9
26R wears #42 and is the BMW tradition car (courtesy of aforementioned chassis plate)

That man has TOO much money , mind you it'd make a nice stable mate if it turns out to be true that he also owns a roadcar

I've asked if Marek knows the owner / driver of the car on the day, i'll let you know if I hear anything.....

Re: MODENA-MOTORSPORT-Track days on the new Nuerburgring

I have just been advised, by another new friend who will be lucky enough to drive #21R in 3 weeks as well as 3 Maseratis (!) that a German, Petler Glaesel - a racer and collector mainly of historic ferraris - now owns #21R that was shown at the Nurburbring on the Modena Trackday, and bought it from out of a Bankrutpcy in the USA!......
