Toyota Tom's 84C

I started this two weeks ago. The engine is almost completed, just a few details left.

I have started preping the body for paint. And one of the doors just happend to fall off.

I also spent some time in the maching shop i school making some parts.

Fule filler

Waste gate

Some tanks

And the rear shocks

Fantastic job on the lathe!

Wey!!! I never though this car had the supra L4!!! I though was powered by the V8 bi-turbo: that's cool: another cool engine for our S7

Re: Toyota Tom's 84C

Thanks for all the comments.

The parts I turned on the lathe are some of the firts parts I have done exept for parts for our Formula SAE car. I just wish I had a lathe at home.

The door kind of fell off. I wasn't sure if I should open the doors. And without really knowing what I did I grabed the body and a knife and started cutting. A few minuted later I had a door in one hand and a body in the other and had no clue what happened.

A small update. The rear is mocked up and seems to fit well. Needs some oil and brake lines and the chassis needs some paint.

Also finnished the wheels, painted Alclad chrome and gold. I like the look and will display two wheels without the covers.

Re: Toyota Tom's 84C

Nice work, those wheels are nice might have to steal them from my kit and use em on a golf. Keep us posted. If anything goes wrong with the decals let me know i plan on not using them.
