96 buick regal wont start

I have a 96 buick regal 3800 about 174000 miles on it have had problems with it since I got it. Every now and then the car would die on me while driving didnt matter what speed or sometimes it would try to die all the gauges would go to zero nd then all of a sudden it would fir back up like nothing happened. Last monday drove it to work made it just fine and it hasnt styarted since. It will turn over just fine, rail is getting plenty of fuel so I would imagine its not getting spark. Any help would be great.

Check for spark and if no spark, suspect the crank sensor (CPS) or ignition control module (ICM).

Yup I changed out the crankshaft position sensor and it started right up like there was never a problem. Thanks for the help.
