60 Years of Ferrari ... My Completed ENZO LM

This model was actually completed about 3 months back, for the NNL East, but I'm quite proud of the finished model so .... here it is for all to see.

If you care to see more photos, check out my Fotki photo site at:
http://public.fotki.com/gkulchock/ferrari_enzo_lm/

Thanks .....

Re: 60 Years of Ferrari ... My Completed ENZO LM

Oh hell yes!!! I saw a pic of this from someone that was at that show and I asked about it but had no reply?! I was still hoping somewhere somehow it would show up and it has. Please tell me where you got the decals and trans kit if there is one. It looks like the JMB Renaissance trans kit decals and paint scheme, is that right? If so, did you make the body mods on your own? I have not even looked at the fotki pics yet, but please let me know where I can get what you used. Looks absolutely awesome. (jon bows his head in honor). opcorn:

Edit: Ok, that was an awesome build!!! I have to say that since the Enzo is my all time favorite Ferrari/car, this is by far my favorite model of all time. Did you use a Revell Enzo? I didn't see the Tamiya characteristic parts in there. Is that the Lions Roar etch set for the radiators? I thought the rims were ala F50 GT, but after seeing what you did, I understand now. What are they? Did you use brass tubing for the headlights so that you could add the leds? So many questions but I will not inundate you, lol.

Looks like my 360 LM kit is not going to be made now!!! That is sad cause I love that car, but I love this one more.

Edit #2: That Pro Street 300Z is completely incredible!!! Your brass work is amazing and so accurate. I have spent the last hour on your site. You really are a master builder. Just in awe.

Edit #3: Welcome AF, I cannot wait to see more of your contributions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are correct on the decals, JMB Renaissance, but there was no trans kit. All of the body modifications were done from scratch on the Revell body. I'm in the process of puting together an article for SA so maybe it will end up as a feature .... I hope. Thanks for the good words.

Re: 60 Years of Ferrari ... My Completed ENZO LM

I never liked the Enzo, but this is incredible! Looks like a very different car.
Did there ever raced an Enzo at Le Mans? Can´t find anything about it.

Oh, and please don´t be that lazy only putting in a single picture here and link to a gallery.

I don't like so much the splitter but the roof's intake and the engine hood are done by a modelling god.... yep pro-skills so far. Great finishing too.

HillBilly:
Glad I sent you the PM inviting you to the AF board! I knew your work would be warmly appreciated here! It is really quite amazing to see what can be done with a stock Revell kit!

This is by far the one of the coolest Enzos I've ever seen. Please post more of your work! A WIP would be great too!
