1990 XJ Temp Sender at a slight angle
Hello
I installed a replacement Temp Sender in my XJ today, and it threaded in fine and once it was all the way in, it seemed like it was at a slight angle going into the block. is this how the sender should normally fit into the block? Thanks in advance- danols |

Re: 1990 XJ Temp Sender at a slight angle
I have a 92 and had to replace a piston last year so when I had the head off I changed out sensors and made sure everything else was ok and with the head completely removed sitting on a bench and putting it in under ideal circumstances the temp sender goes in at an angle. If it was to go straight in you would have problems replacing it on the engine and would not have clearance inside the head.
