55 roadmaster brakes

Just bought a 55 roadmaster and wondering if they really had power brakes.
Does it have a brake booster?
It has all new brake shoes and wheel cylinders.
You have to stand on the brakes with both feet.

Welcome to AF, have you looked under the hood behind the master cylinder for the booster yet? They came with and without power brakes.
