98 neon

My daughter poped the timing belt on her 98 neon. they say it more than likely bent the valves. I have already got her another car. what is the value on a neon that has a broke timing belt? it has new tires, body is nice, and interior is nice. Any one know?

Re: 98 neon

well, it depends how much you wanna spend on one.. if you can sell it whole, its easier to do that.. some people might wanna buy it as parts..etc.if that doesnt work, you gotta part it out yourself.. try sell it on craigslist.com

Re: 98 neon

i would try to fix it first a timing belt is like a 3-4 hour fix. i have had to take mine on and off about 5 times its simple. of course if the valves are bent thats a diffrent story but you could at least try

Re: 98 neon

$200-$400 max as it sits. But you could get a used head and throw it on there and sell it for more or use it as a beater car.
