AquaMist?

Does anybody know anything about the new thing Aquamist that sprays a light mist into your intercooler allowing you to run higher boost.

are you talking about the n ter cooler by nitrous express. or are you just talking about spraying water on the intercooler to cool things down? either way, same effect but nitrous is alot cooler. cooler denser air equals more hp.

it pretty much just basically sprays nitrous or another option they have to spray into the intercooler before racing or while racing to reduce the inlet temperatures for more hp

So do you have to buy the entire intercooler from them, or can you just buy a thing to spray the mist into the intercooler you already have.

nah, you just have to buy the spray from them...it looks pretty much like the nitrous bottle and hose just connected differently, another thing you can do if your at the drag or just have time before a race is to get a bottle of nos and spray down your intercooler with it, its pretty much the same idea and concept

Yeah, but if I am sittin at a stop light and Mustang pulls up, I don't exactly have time to pop my hood, get out, and spray down my intercooler. I think I will have to look into that!

water injection

I think the original question was about water injection, it sprays water into your intake track, the hot air atomizes the water (turning it into steam) which greatly lowers the intake temperature. Pretty cool stuff, eh?
