88 GMC Suburban Speedometer Cable

Ok so I bought my suburban 4 days ago and the speedometer is broken its a 454 r2500 and I have the new cable but i am waiting on the book had to order it in and I need to know where the cable is located on my truck...any help would be appreciated thanks.
