92 bonneville AC problems

I've got a 92 bonneville SSE that has two issues.

1) the temp on the temp control display flashes.

2) no matter what I do the only air that comes out is through the vents near the windshield. I have checked for vacuum leaks and don't think thats the problem. I can pull the lines off the vacuum resevoir and it is still charged several hours after turning off the car.


Any suggestions?
