97 rodeo chugging at low rpm

my 97 v6 rodeo is chugging mostly at low rpm seems to chug less with more throttle, i pulled the plugs they all look good did a compression test and that wad good , could use any suggestions

Have you recently changed fuel filter? Picked up some bad gas maybe?

i'll check it , it's throwing a code check engine light is flashing , gonna take up to autozone and have them read the code

where is the fuel filter located at is easy to get to and check

Fuel filter is under the vehicle, passnger side....just in front of the rear tire along the frame.

all right changed fuel filter, no change cleaned egr no change so i took it up to autozone and had them read the codes , had a po302 misfire in #2 cylinder guy said it probably the spark plugs any one have similiar problem

Yes. Turned out to be the coil pack, but it was clear from looking at the plugs that #4 was wet and misfiring. If you haven't done the plugs in awhile, it'd be a good place to start.

problem was a bad coil found it after replacing the plugs and still had the misfire disconnected the coil on the cyclinder that was misfireing and no change
