Revell 1956 Chevy Nomad

This is a build I completed a few months ago as a review kit for a magazine. I changed the wheels to something a little more suited for this kind of car after the review was published.

It's painted with Tamiya Mica Red and Tamiya Racing White, inside and out with lots of Bare Metal Foil. The wheels that are on it now are from the parts box. Otherwise, this was an OOB build using the suspension lowering parts provided in the kit.

Thanks for looking.

Re: Revell 1956 Chevy Nomad

Great work, especially with the BMF! That stuff seems difficult to work with. Is this the AMT kit and is it the kit chrome?

Who's standing next to you?

Thanks everyone.

LOL... there's no one standing next to me that I was aware of . Although, after you mention it, it does look like it.

All the window trim, side trim and tail gate trim are BMF. I love BMF

Those wheels fit the car perfectly. I did like the first ones you used as well. Of course it would look good with widened steelies and stock dog dish caps too

That isn't Deanna standing at your side with a plate of cookies?
