Brushguard upgrade
If you have a brushguard on a truck, and you fill the pipes with a non-compressable fluid, then weld the whole thing sealed, will that increase the structual strenth of the brushguard?

Re: Brushguard upgrade
sort of.
don't go thinking that filling 1/16"-wall tubing with oil will give it much more stength. it'll make it a lot heavier. it'll give a tiny arount more stregth, but how much i don't know. probably not enough to measure a difference. remember that fluid has no load-bearing capacity like a sloid does. if you want to increase the strength you'll have to either reinforce it or get something like a steel winch bumper.
