1998 ABS brake light lit

Had to remove my steering knuckle to press in a wheel bearing, this required removal of the drivers side abs wheel sensor, now the ABS light remains lit. I would like to reset the system, the books says the comms terminal is under the dash behind the center console. Does anyone know exactly where? Do I have to take the center console apart to get at it? any help would be appreciated thanks.

Re: 1998 ABS brake light lit

Unless you damaged it, it should reset itself. If it does not simply unplug the postive and negative battery terminal for a an hour or half and it should reset. If it returns replace the sensor. You may also wnat to reeview your work. The sensor reads the notches on the cv axle and it may be out to much or there is grease on the sensor common problem on the passenger side.
