Fuse Problem when A/C is turned on
1997 Pontiac Grand Am SE 3.1L
100,800 Miles For some reason sometimes when I turn the A/C on one of the mini fuses under the hood will go bad resulting the the A/C compressor stopping, and the brake light will come on. The shifter can not be moved from park, I assume this has something to do with the brake light. Does anyone have any idea whats causing thisi fues to blow when I turn on the A/C? Thanks!!! |

Re: Fuse Problem when A/C is turned on
Check the wiring going to the compressor clutch. Might possibly be rubbing on the engine or another metal part, causing a short. Correct guess on the shifting issue.
