dead rpm/lights on

i have a question, very weird. my car was making loud noise on the belts and the rpm was sitting above 1000rpm.it was like this for about 2 weeks, then my radio dead then the anti lock light come on and the check light and abs light come on also.after all that the rpm wasn't working anymore.the car felt like it was going to die and it did die about 10mins later.after all that i check my battery and it was low, so i got my bro's car to jump it.after i jump it everything was fine for about 5mins and it started to do the same thing all over again and the battery also was very low.the battery is new i just bought it.any idea what it could be??

Re: dead rpm/lights on

sounds like a problem with the belt running the alternator. I'd check to see if it's loose.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
