check engine light is on! help
Ok....Ineed some major help...
As I was driving today, I noticed the car was severely bucking - the transitions into each gear were very shaky and the car sounded like crap... As I drove home the check engine light came on....I got out of my car popped the hood, and noticed a ton of smoke coming from the intake(the pipe right above where the engine is). Does this mean my tranny is shot or do I just need soemthing little like new spark plugs. HELP!

well you will probly need new sparkplugs and wires! But go to autozone and have them check your ecu. they do it for free! then you will know exactly is going on and can fix it from there. But in the mean time check the basic stuff ignition wires, sparkplugs, also check for leaks. It could also be a blown sensor in your intake manifold.

I had a similar problem in my Eclipse, it may be different with the GST, but all I needed was a new ignition wires and all that stuff.
