Unhappy Coilover Problems!

I recently installed some coilovers and they look really sweet and I used them with my factory struts. The ride was so freakin bumpy though and now my struts are worthless and I gotta get some new ones. Any suggestions on some low budget struts? Does anyone else have this problem?

how do you know your struts are bad? i have coilovers too and i never changed anything else, and the ride is really bumpy also and it always has been since i got it done. how can you tell if something is wrong with them or if they are worn out?

Well since my ride was so bumpy I just took the wheel and everything off and looked at them and I pushed the strut all the way in and it didn't come back up on its own. It just stuck there. With good struts they should just come back up. The way my car was you could just tell that the struts weren't even doing anything. I just think the back struts are too long and they don't really have any room to decompress which wears them out. I was hoping just to get some performance struts that are relatively cheap. I think they are shorter. I'm not real sure about that though.
