Ferrari F2001

Here is my WIP for Tamiya Ferrari F2001. Color is Duplicolor flame red, and it hasn't been cleared yet. This is how it looks from the can. No polishing yet. It may be a little dark when compared to the bright red recommended in the instructions.

My rear cowl fits horribly, and the main section is going to take a hella lot of convincing/force to stay put. Exhaust is weathered and will be added next.

I was checking out some reds today. You should see the Model Master Chrysler Engine Red - man, talk about a bright red, it's dazzling. I'll be doing a F2001 too, got some lumi red for it, but it doesn't look right (still investigating though).

I've seen that in the store and it is bright. The color for a Ferrari F1 is a hotly contested subject. I say get the one you like most! You'll probably never have the two next to each other anyway!
