Question 1999 Sable Door Lock Inoperative

The automatic door lock will not lock the driver's side automatically. The up/down knob on the door is the only way to lock it. The other 3 doors work normally.

Also, when I insert the key in the doors, the key has to be juggled in order to finally catch and open the locked door. The key is not bent. In fact, the replacement keys are affected as well.

Do I need a new door actuator and/or new locks?

Anyone have a link to an instruction manual to do this?

Thanks.

I have the same problem with mine. Though, it goes in fine all the time, but sometimes it just wont turn at all. After a bit of jingling, it seems to work as if it never had a problem. Its actually kept me out of my car a few times, in the rain. Both sides do it. It doestn happen much, but when it does, it really does. So, I am also open to suggestions.
