it wil fit but the tranny is weak, so you might want to use an S14 tranny with the S15 engine. but the S15 engine has no real advantages over the S14 or even S13 motor except for bragging rights. the S15 SR20DET is about twice as expensive to build up than the S14.

umm... what about the 241hp from the factroy as opposed to the 205 of the s-13 red top, also the s-15 has a better turbo desing , i think it uses sum form of a ball bearing setup also the six-sp tranny, not 2 mention the vvt system, but other then that yea no real advantages!

if you plan on tuning the engine anyway it really doesn't matter. the S13 SRs have a bigger port and most race engines get rid of the VVT anyway. 205 vs. 241 isn't really much of a difference considering the S13 SR has 203ft-lb. torque and the S15 has 202ft.-lb. so if you are keepint it stock, go for it i guess, but if you are going to tune it, the earlier SRs are a better bet because they are cheaper to tune and an S13 SR20DET will easily match a similarly tuned S15 SR20DET for less money. iv'e seen it. i was window shopping for S15 motors when i foudn all this out, my choice is now a blacktop S13 SR20DET. but good luck with your project whatever you decide. SRs are great motors.

Why has there been a recent outbreak in the 240SX and Silvia forums in bringing back threads from the dead?!
