squeky breaks

i got squeky brakes on my car and i cant figure out how to get rid of it or what might be causing the problem. the breaks still have easily more than half of the life on them so i dont know what is going on. i heard that the brake stuff....e-z breaks or whatever really doesnt work to well. please help

I had the same problem with brakes...I ended up getting OEM brake pads and the noise went away...

yeah, i have thought abou getting new breaks but these ones still have a lot of life left on them, almost new

When my brakes were squeking I took the wheel off and there was a loose bolt stuck between the rotor and the backing plate...my suggestion check for stupid shit b4 spending money VWs can get expensive.
