starting problem

i just got a new starter and a new transmission put in my 3000 try to start it it still dont start altenator is good. what could the problem be???? someone help

Check to make sure the ground wire at the starter was rehooked up. Also check to see if all teh wires going to the starter itseld are hooked up. If that checks out see if it needs a jump start.

does it turn over and jus not fire, or is it not turning over at all
