Power Trunk

Hey just a quick question.. My Trunk dosent open...wtf???
just bought the car, 2000 focus lx.. was working now its not
key dosent work, power, I hear some clicks and still dosent open (it did pop open when I pressed the button)
any help would be much appreciated

1 more question with the 2000 focus:
wanna replace the speakers and dont have a manual
anyone have the sizes I should buy? if not I will check for myself

Got the speaker size, now just the trunk problem

Needs a new trunk latch. I replaced about 20 of them in the last 6 years.

how do I go about doing that?
cant get it to open, easy do-it-yourself job?

You can do the job yourself, but you need to get the trunk open somehow!

Can you get to the inside of the trunk through the back seats on that model? If you can then either pop the emergency cable or try to pop the latch manually.
