Tail light questions:

Can the 01 silverado 1500 use the 03 tail lights (The ones without the amber)?

What year tail lights can I use to get rid of the amber?

Re: Tail light questions:

I believe so. IIRC any taillight from 03-06 should plug right in.

Re: Tail light questions:

Yes, the lights can be interchanged.

Re: Tail light questions:

They can be interchanged but they don't plug right in...The 03 tailights have an extra bulb in them. I put 03 lamps on my 00 silverado, much better looking!, but I bought the harnesses for an 03 chevy which plugs in to the 00 harness and fits the new tail lamps.

Re: Tail light questions:

I am considering going with clear euro style lights. Does anyone have any thoughts aout putting the 03 style "clear euro" lights on an 02? It should be the same procedure correct?
