Re: Outside Air
Sometimes in my 99 Malibu I hear a click click click coming from the heater control areas. I notice that the little green lights on the "air flow through" and the "circulate interior air" control knobs flash, in time with the clicking. This tells me that somehow, the controls are flipping all by themselves. Eventually, I suppose, the circuitry will deteriorate further. That may be your problem too.

Re: Outside Air
The weird part is if the ac is off and I push the circular button the air that comes in now feels cold I wonder why.
