mods for my teg

Ok, i just aquired a 91 integra Ls, and i wanna know what best way to gain more power. The base for the 91 is around 130hp, right, well i wanna try and gain 50hp, around 180hp. How difficult will this be? What would be the best mods to perform? and what about price? Any suggestions would be great. Oh by the way the car is bone stock at the moment and its an auto....

Sounds like you might want to drop a b16a1 or b17 in there, and then add some bolt ons.

what can i do to the existing engine?? What kinda results would i be lookin at if stuck with the existin engine?

how much do B17's cost?, i haven't really seen any around..?

Dont even try, its VERY RARE, it cam in the latemodel 2nd gen teg GSR's... a very limited amount of these GSR's were made, and if i'm correct it makes about 160 hp... i dont think it had 180 like the newer GSR's have..... Also, if i were you, i'd rebuild the stock motor that you have now, and put bigger pistons rods, cams, etc... do the works, and maybe turbo it! that would be your best bet! if you wanna do a plain and simple swap, go with a b16, or if you want a lot more power and have the money, get a b18c1, thats a gsr engine.... You will have to stay with your current tranny if you go b18c1 because you have a cable clutch... Or, if you find a 1stgen tranny off of a b16, that would be good because its cable and most came with LSD!!!!

ok, so i should rebuild and get pistons and the works huh... does my early b-series engine have enough potential to be worth spending the money?
