Post Supercharger/Blower Information - Go or No?

Hi guys,
I've got a 1969 350, 4 bolt main. I've gotta to a bottom end rebuild, including a light bore, which also means new pistons. I was considering the possibility of blowing the motor, but I haven't dealt much with blowers in the past so I'm not entirely sure what I'd be getting myself into. What PSI boost should I go with for a street application? Also what compression ratio would be best for a 93 octane street car with a blower. If blowing it, what should be done to the engine to make sure it will not only be powerful, but will last a good 80k+. What kind of knowledge, do's and don'ts are necesary to install a blower in this motor? Thanks for any help guys!
~Pete
