Hi everyone. Have had a problem with my truck the past three years. When I pull my travel trailer or just a flat bed trailer with my bobcat the check engine light comes on. When I stop at a stop sign it goes off. But sometimes when I stop at an intersection and start to take off the truck acts like the throttle cable is not connected. In other words you press on the gas and nothing happens. I have had it in the mechanics shop every year for this and all the can tell me is the oxygen sensor needs replaced. I dont believe that can be happening every year. Besides, when I am not pulling anything it runs fine. I am stumped. Maybe someone out there has had this problem. Now the ford tech wants me to pull my trailer over and check the codes before I shut the truck off. YOU guys and gals are great for trouble shooting problems. Thanks in advance.

Re: 95 f-150 check engine light
sounds like the computer is sensing an intermitant miss under load but being a 95 I think it still has eec4 instead of obd2if it has obd2 the miss is probably your problem this could also set off a o2 sensor code

Thanks cjbarron5 for the info. I'll tell the ford tech what you said. I appreciate your input. Thanks again.
