Inop power windows and radio
Both the power windows and radio on my 2000 Buick Regal have simultaneously quit working. Windows are up (fortunately). Radio will accept/eject CD's but no sound or display. All fuses and relays seem to be fine. Everything else on the dash (display, a/c, etc.) works fine. Any ideas on why they would go out at the same time and what could cause it? Side note - remote (?) caused car to fail to start yesterday, reset remote and it fixed the problem.

Re: Inop power windows and radio
Welcome to AF.
This is a common problem. Possible bad retained accessory power relay (RAP) or loss of ground from the body control module (BCM) to the RAP relay. Also, check all relevant fuses associated with BCM and RAP.

Re: Inop power windows and radio
The RAP fuse was blown. Thanks so much, it's going to be pushing 100 degrees today, needed those windows!
