1989 c1500 brive shaft

Does anyone know if a 2 peice drive shaft can be swaped with a one peice.
I have a 1989 c1500 auto ext cab 6ft box . 11'8" hub to hub

Why? Why do you want to change it out? The less weight on your transmission output bearing/housing the better.
