Re: seafoam

if you do it right....i read through all the threads i could find about it and in sum, the best way to do it i believe is: 1/3 can in gas tank and 1/3 can thru brake booster line(put the 1/3 in a bowl or something, then use a hose n just barely touch the surface of the seafoam with the hose and it will start sucking...have someone there to rev the car only a tad to keep the car on until the seafoam is gone)..then let the car sit for several minutes (some say 5 some say 30)....then turn it on and rev until theres no smoke left...then put the other 1/3 in your oil but do not rev!!!..again let sit for a while, then drain oil, then run car with cheap oil for a few minutes to rinse out the chemicals, then put fresh oil.....feel free to chime in anyone else..

Re: seafoam

No need to run the car with cheap oil to get the chemicals out. If there is any seafoam at all left after draining it will be extremely negligable.
