gas is leaking

i have a gas leak on my 85 735i bmw,it looks like its leaking by or around the tranny..im not sure but i read theres a delivery pump, fuel accumulator,and a filter..any ideas thanks

These cars are prone to fuel leaks from the fuel line in engine compartment that runs beneath the expansion tank. i would pull the expansion tank (easy) and look in that area for fuel lines crossing behind the engine.
