Microsoft Zune and JVC Deck

i have a microsoft zune. for those of you who dont know, a zune is much like a apple ipod. anyway, i have a friend who has a CD deck in his car that has a jack in the front. i beleive this jack is called a "Front auxiliary input". this allows him to listen to music directly off his ipod. it just plugs into the ipod headphone jack and straight to the cd player. i want to do this with my zune. i was thinking about purchaseing this deck:

it has a front auxiliary input. so i assume it would work. what are you thoughts on this and what do you think about that cd deck?

Re: Microsoft Zune and JVC Deck

You won't be able to control the zune like you would be able to control an ipod, but it'll still play songs off it.

deck looks decent enough

Re: Microsoft Zune and JVC Deck

It will work. JVC aren't that bad actually. I know a few blazer owners in blazer only forums who compete with JVC decks and recommend them. Still, I think you should get something that's got a good equalizer. Its hard to tell if that one does, but you can see for yourself obviously at a local circuit city. I have a nice panasonic deck with awesome sound shaping options and is nice when i hook up my minidisc player so i highly recommend them. Also, you can consider getting a deck with RCA inputs and spend 5 bucks on a Y converter if you can't find anything you like with front panel input.

BTW, nice bird.
