1995 Grand Voyager Electrical Problems

Hi, new here. My wife has been having some problems with her van recently and our garage cannot figure out what the problem is. I searched the forums here, but was unable to find others with a similiar problem.

What happens is the blower fan for the HVAC goes off, the turn signals will not work and the ABS light on the dash comes on. The fuse for these items (15 amp) is blown. Replacing the fuse seems to help, but this fuse is constantly blowing. This problem occurs mostly in hot weather when she is driving in stop and go traffic.

If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

Which fuse is blowing? Need the number and the label stamped near it. Which fuse panel is it on?

I would bet your blower motor has something to do with it. It may be heating up, drawing more current, and blowing the fuse. How 3 systems are fused at a single point is a mystery.

Have you solved this problem? I just purchased a 97 T&C for my daughter and it has developed similar symptoms (blows the B/U light fuse which also powers the htr fan and turn signals.) I have isolated the problem to the B/U light circuit based on the fact that the fuse only blows when the shift lever is placed in reverse position (signals and blower work fine until the shift lever is placed in R). I plan to pull the reverse switch and test it.

I too have exactly the same problem, I did cjheck the fuses quickly but thought they were fine. I will check again today.
It is some comfort to know that the problem I have been having is not an isolated one.
