fuel system problems

my fuel pump would not turn on and my check engine light would also not come on when i turned my ignition on. I tested the main relay and had continuity and i also hot wire my fuel pump directly to the battery and it worked. So then I took the main relay off and bridged the two connections with a jumper wire and the pump worked. But for some reason when I put the main relay back the pump does not have power at all. Could anyone help me with this its really pissing me off... 92 honda civic

sounds like the relay is bad.

i have exactly the same problem ,,,, main relay has continuity but pin #8 doesnt has ground ..... from where that ground comes ??? the ecu?????
