Disabling Odometer in Megane II ?

Hi All

This is just for informative purposes only, my car has already gone beyoned warranty.

I just want to know how to disable the Odometer in an MII ?

Is it possible? has something to do with a fuse or so, need to disable the whole dash?

anyways I know that the actual milage will be stored at the car's ECU.

any hints?

dont touch it as you will need to replace the whole unit as it has a safety to stop that sort of thing
