Exhaust/header wrap

Two questions

Is there a wrong way to wrap them?

and

Should I wrap the exhaust housing on my turbo?

I drove from my house to work and back (probably like 4-5 miles) and when I got back I popped my hood and smoked was coming off of the exhaust housin gon the turbo and a little bit from the header... I am frightened, lol.

Re: Exhaust/header wrap

i wouldn't wrap anything if its not stainless cause moisture gets trapped in their and its only a matter of time before the metal will rust out. Oh and they will smoke like a mother when you first install them and the wrap sees heat.
