1992 buick lesabre electical

yes I have viewed many posts...

Husband decided to put in new lighter in 1992 Buick Lesabre though I never used it. Since then, dome light stays on, defroster comes on when doors are opened, radio resets itself to am station. Occasionally chimes set in and will not shut off. I am driving a car with no radio and other crazy almost scary behaviour. He is going nuts with fuses and modules. Any help???

Welcome to AF. Look at the radio fuse, cigar liter/ interior lite fuse, you popped the liter fuse when replacing it somehow, focus on that circuit.

Thanks for the reply. I told him and he said I checked it more than once. 2 days later he checked again and you were right. Now we can drive it for a lil while longer til we can get something newer. He must have somehow missed it as he had whole front dash torn apart. Thank you again.
