Looking at buying a 03 Vue

My girlfriend is looking at buying a Vue, it's 03 Awd 4 cylinder with 96,000kms. Would you recommend this vechile, and how is the maintance on the Awd. She is looking for a reiable vechile with good fuel mileage. What is your input. Thanks

I would recommend the v6 ( 3.0l or 3.5L) over the 4cyl. I've heard a lot of horror stories about them. As far as the AWD, both of our saturn vues have it and both are fine. the only main difference is our 02 vue is rear wheel drive with AWD as needed and our 04 is front wheel drive with AWD as needed. I would recommend an 04+ since i know it's front wheel drive then AWD kicks in as needed ( if you live in a place that gets alot of snow) Neither have had any problems other then routine maintenance.
