I know a guy that had a sock as a filter, he just wrapped it around the throttle body and rubberbanded that shit down... keyword was "had". he drove it in the rain once and now he's driving around in his mom's car

LMFAO! too funny, lol maybe take the stock air box off and add an extension to it and point it so it catches the air coming off the front tire as it spins. That would be like a poor man's turbo. The faster the tire spins the more 'spool' you get

why even have an intake at all? go open header....open INTAKE header. no intake hose. no TB. no header.....just take a sawzal to the header right before the injectors.......go for it man. it wouldn't restrict the air AT ALL!!!!
