|
need help cause i'm stumped
i have a 1995 Gmc 2.2L 2WD Ext. cab pickup. it would not accelerate, backfire then stall while driving. i changed to fuel filter made sure there was no leaks and made sure it was installed correctly. now i cant get it to start back up. did i need to prime the lines or something??? any advice would be helpful

Has it got plenty of fuel i n the tank?
Can you hear fuel pump run? If so check fuel pressure. MT

Does sound like the fuel pump, same thing happened to me. I had it towed and the bumps cause it to work again for about an hour but stalled on me again and needed to be replaced. Mine actually still doesn't read right after replacing the pump and the sending unit. Good luck
