water pump help
how hard is to install a water pump on a 3.8 engine...how do you get the power streering pulley out of the way to get the water pump bolts out.. thanks alot, curtis.....................it is a 2000 grand prix

Welcome to AF.
It would help to post what year and model Grand Prix. On the SII 3800 engine to make the job easier some people remove (set aside) the power steering pump to get to the water pump bolts but you can remove one bolt on the power steering pump. Then tilt it and line up the power steering pump pulley with the water pump bolt since the power steering pump pulley has access holes for a socket. With patience the P.S. pump doesn't need to be removed but it is your choice.
