trouble starting
Hi, I have a 1988 towncar with 5.0 liter 100,000 miles......Sometimes when it rains I have trouble starting it(turns over but does not catch). I am thinking that it could be something with the distributer or the wiring getting wet.......Does anyone have any sugestions. Thanks

Re: trouble starting
Clean out the IAC (Idle Air Control valve - on the side of the throttle body with the tube sticking down at an angle) and make sure the connections to the starter solenoid are corroded.
Also this can causes a number of issues
