97 cavalier choking up while accelerating

We have a chevy cavalier choking while accelerating...it does it more and more now, and usually after stopping...after a few seconds it goes, but sometimes it chokes for 10-15 seconds....no engine lights on the dash and the dealer put it on their machine and had nothing come up??

Re: 97 cavalier choking up while accelerating

Ya mine does the same thing! It has never stalled, just makes it hard to accellerate quickly. Some times I will hear 1 click come from the engine. When it first started I thought it was a fuel injector problem, so i added the injector cleaner to the tank, it still screws around. its a 4 cyl.
