what A night!!

ok.. so I got my car back from the body shop yesterday!! I was freaking so excited!! I still had to throw in my new radiator though so i did that as soon as i got off work.. my GF was planning on going out and driving around last night too.. so I finaly get the radiator in and go get coolant and I try to crank it over.. the battry is dead!! so I push the car and pop start it yeah! I am driving it again!! (it felt so good) so I go get my GF and she is upset that it took me so long. we leave my apartment and we drive about 2 miles and I start over heating.. so I had to drive like a 1/4 mile just to be able to pull over and take a look to see what was going on.. so I pull over and coolant is boiling out of my damn radiator over flow tank! so I turned the car off and I turned the heater on in the car.. to help cool it all down I let it sit for about 10 minuts and then I decided we should just drive her home so I can work on her.. I go to start her up and click click click click!! god damit the battry is dead again!! so i push the car in to the parking lot and we walked back to my apartment.. my gf was not to happy about that but I think i was more mad then she was.. we get to my place and I grab the keys to my bike we get on to go get some food we here taking a short cut through the idustrial area (no one else around) and about 4 miles away I run out of freaking gas on my bike.. her car was closer them my apartment so then we walked to her car.. (about a mile) At least her car started.. haha anyways bad night.. I dont think my radiator fan is kicking on.. I took out the ac one. anyone know why it wouldnt kick on? I think it was boilinn cause I had air in my system

Re: what A night!!

air in the system alone might cause it to overheat because if theres a bubble at your pump your not getting circulation. before chasing electrical bugs i'd try making sure youve got plenty of coolant. add when its cool, run it until it heats up enough for the thermostat to open, then turn if off let it cool and add more. do that until you cant fit anymore.

although i would think your fan shoulda kicked on...
