GTO vs. S2000.

Caught a Silver S2000 running home late tonight. He was driving preaty fast and spiritedly so I knew he would go for it. Side by side we take off and gun it a second later already at a slight roll. I short shift to second knowing that it wont hurt since he has to get his revs up. second comes in nice and hard but with no wheel spin and I pull a full car. He hits Vtec and starts to hold off my advance. I shift to third and Im still only a car ahead with him holding his own very well. By the top of third I start to slowly crawl away. I hold it to 6K rpms which is 700 before redline. I shift and then look back to see if Ive gained. I kept crawling slow and by the top of 4th I had about 3 and a half cars.

We stop again side by side.
me: *thumbs up.*
him: noice man, how much you got like 400 horse power?
me: yeah, about 440 right now.
him: (laughing) ohhh shit man! nice!
me: you have a sweet car man, it sounds nice and you held your own very well.
him: aww, thanks bro, be safe man.
me: you too brother!

we both took off seperate ways.

the end.

Re: GTO vs. S2000.

nice he must of had something nice to not lose so bad but thinking it over in my head it was a fairly good matchup you with the heavy powerful car Vs. the semilight moderately powerful car
and its always nice to meet a nice racer

Nice run. That S2K must have some serious goodies. Your GTO is in another league stock for stock.

They're saving their money because the kid is due any day now... kids > car mods.

He must've been s/c'ed to keep up with you like that. No way would a stock one put up that much of a fight.

Intake, headers, exhaust, ITB, tune, and re-gearing for the S2k? Maybe?
