Is This Right
so i got a 96 neon today if i pull a 2.0 dohc engine,harness,an ecm and 5 speed and the shifter and linkage and clutch pedal with the cable also a 2.4 from a strats from the junk yard i should just be able to bolt the tranny to the 2.4 and the 2.0 head on the engine plug it in the ecu and be all set .......are both the 2.0's axles the same or which ones would i need.....seeing how i'am using the 2.0 head i should'nt run into the cam timing problems???? what hp do the 2.4's have stock ?

2.0 DOHC and 2.4 DOHC heads are identical. The 2.4 DOHC is rated the same HP wise as the 2.0 DOHC neon engine...150HP. The difference is in the torque rating...160 ft/lbs for the 2.4 as opposed to the 2.0's 132 ft/lbs.
